From fresh newborn cuddles to 70th, 80th or even 100th birthdays (I’ve done all of those!) there’s no time like the present to get beautiful photos of your family. For those planning family reunions or holidays in the Cotswolds, I am conveniently located on the edge of the Cotswolds, and cover many popular and beautiful destinations such as Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow on the Wold, Lower Slaughter, Rollright Stones, Kingham, Daylesford, Soho Farmhouse, so just get in touch with your plans and I’ll happily help plan your shoot around (or alongside!) your other sightseeing and holiday plans.

We can either shoot outside, or I can bring my portable studio setup to the comfort of your own home or accommodation for those who’d like more classic studio portraits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Anywhere! I can come to your home, we can go outside somewhere special to you, or just somewhere that I suggest based on your vibe and general idea of your family situation. I will advise of pros and cons of each option and we can decide together what would work for you!

I always suggest we schedule a time when you know your children will be reasonably well rested, fed and generally content. Usually this would be mid-morning after breakfast, or after nap time if they still nap. It’s harder with small babies of course, so with them I always make sure we schedule plenty of time for our shoot, so if they need to eat or fall asleep, I can still work around that. Also, bring snacks, lots of snacks, just in case. 🙂

Ideally I will load the images onto my laptop right after our shoot, and we can sit down for you to review and choose your favourites right away. This way I can go home and edit your picks as soon as possible!

If we don’t have time for you to review straight away, then we’ll schedule a separate review appointment for you to do this.

Usually there’s a 2-5 day turnaround for smaller projects, and 1-2 weeks for larger projects. I’ll give you a better estimate of what to expect once we go over your shoot plans.

Of course! I can do both (and I have some other cool products you may like), we’ll chat about this during our consultation and I’ll make sure you get photos suitable for whatever you need!

I always love to hear your ideas about the style and poses you want! However, every client’s vibe and location is different so of course I will work with you to create photos inspired by what you show me, while in keeping with the characteristics and possibilities of our location.

The standard license includes your own personal use and print rights for all shots. If you’d like to re-sell the images or use them for another purpose, please ask and we can negotiate an extended commercial license.

I have full public liability and professional indemnity insurance through PolicyBee/Hiscox (policy no. 14791356). I carry backup equipment with me so that if something breaks or malfunctions, I can continue working with minimal interruption to coverage. I shoot on dual memory cards, too, so if one becomes corrupted I have a full backup on the other card by default so your images aren’t lost.
