A Camden Town, London engagement shoot | Marcela & Sam
22 May 2016
I met Marcela and Sam on a cloudy but warm spring day in Camden Town, to have a walk around the area and capture some laid-back, natural looking shots of them together before their upcoming wedding. It was a great chance to get to know them as a couple, see how they interact and get an idea of how I will work with them on the wedding day. They are a super relaxed and friendly pair so it wasn’t difficult to get some fun shots of them in various situations!
7 questions to ask your potential wedding photographer

Engagement session in Colliers Wood, Merton Abbey Mills
09 May 2015
Cathryn and I met during our postgraduate studies so I’ve known her for a while and was really happy when she asked me to photograph her wedding this year. She and her fiance David have been together for eight years now, so this gave me the idea of approaching their engagement session from a slightly different perspective; the ‘Beloved’ method.
This is a type of couple/family photography that favours capturing candid interactions, with simple ‘tasks’ meant as guidance from the photographer. It can evoke strong emotions, shared memories and feelings that couples who have been together a long time can draw upon.
A Tonbridge, Kent engagement shoot
05 April 2015
I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely couple’s engagement in a beautiful place near a National Trust area in Kent. The bride came up with lots of ideas for props, most of them very personal, telling the story of their relationship which we had a lot of fun incorporating into the shots. We were also lucky with the weather – clear skies and only a little wind!
