It’s always a joy and a privilege to contribute to conversations on capturing meaningful family moments, and I’m truly honoured to share the pages with so many talented photographers.
Reflecting on my journey in family photography, I remember all too well the questions and challenges I faced early on. Offering tips to new photographers is my way of giving back, sharing the kinds of practical advice I wish I’d known—things like how to put children at ease in front of the camera, and finding those natural, in-between moments that show the true spirit of a family.
